Trauma Care Therapy (TCT) is committed to cultivating healing and resilience in individuals and communities affected by violent crime. Our goal is to provide comprehensive, evidence-based interventions for recovery, well-being, and empowerment. We envision a world where everyone has the support and resources to overcome trauma and lead fulfilling lives.
Our mission is to deliver holistic, evidence-based interventions that foster recovery, well-being, and empowerment. Our vision is of a world where everyone has the support and resources to triumph over trauma and live fulfilling lives.
A culture of compassion is an integral part of the Trauma Recovery Center (TRC) model. It plays a crucial role in nurturing the spirit and providing inspiration, thus keeping hope alive. Many crime survivors live in impoverished and violence-stricken communities, leading to feelings of despair and hopelessness. The TCT Clinician often faces the challenge of instilling hope in survivors who may have long given up and cannot envision a different life. In this role, the TCT Clinician becomes the "holder of hope" for these survivors.
